CodeTaper® #6
With the optional CodeTaper® No. 6 attached to any BP555, BP755, BP754, BP556, BP554, BP333 Plus, or TS150 tape dispenser, printing is automatic as the tape is dispensed. (Above model does not fit the new BP555e series dispensers.) Eliminates hand marking, stenciling, stamping. Prints gummed tape to show: contents, color, size, shape, style, quantity, date, or use by codes.

No rolls of preprinted tape laying around for someone to steal and repack a box. The CodeTaper® No. 6 is a practical printing attachment. A self-inking, self-adjusting ink distribution roller (instead of felt or sponge) results in uniform legibility. The intermediate rubber roller between ink roll and type also prolongs the life of the ink roller. CodeTaper® supplies include ink, rubber type, and logotypes. Ink is available in red, black, green, blue, and other special order colors. Rubber type inserts are from 1/8" to 1" typeface in an assortment of different fonts.

CodeTaper® model CT2003
Fits on the BP555e series models.

Printing Supplies
The BPI CodeTapers printer require two items for printing on gummed tape: Printing type and Ink. Depending upon how your message is to be printed, you have several options.
For three inch tape users, your printable message area is approximately 2" wide. For 2 1/2" wide tape users the width is 1 3/4", 2" tape users 1 1/4", 1 1/2" tape users have 7/8". Length varies by mfg.
For printing type your options include:
- A logomat - Best for companies wanting to print their logo, or the same information over and over.
- Word mats - Best for companies wanting to print the same worded message.
- Rib type letter and number sets - Best when the message changes every day/shift/etc. Assortments are sold by the kit and include all letters and numbers with the special characters of .,-&$'/ and ¢.
- Rib type date sets - Best for when dating is required. Two types of sets. Standard with each month and assortment of numbers to make the day, and year (1998-2004), or One year date sets that contain 366 pieces.
For Ink, we offer Black, Blue, Green, and Red colors. The ink is available in 6-4oz cases, pints, quarts, and gallons.

Foot Threadles
Fits the new BP555eS, BP555eL with part #92002101 or the BP555eSA, and BP555eLA tape dispensers with part #92002001. With the foot threadle, your operators are able to work with both hands and when tape is required, simply press the foot switch and get a strip of tape.
For a total SYSTEM, use the Automatic Measuring Device with the BP555eSA and BP555eLA and the foot switch. Add the Tape Aerial and shoot the tape over the carton for easy placement and the CodeTaper for coding.
The foot threadle may able be mounted higher for knee activation. The Foot Threadle connect through the RS-232 jack in the back of the new dispensers.
The older model BP556 uses a similar foot threadle to the eS model.

SpaSaver® Stand
Standard model D5-6 or Floor Stand D5-6X
Placement of a Better Pack® dispenser will greatly improve efficiency of your packers. Optional Spasaver® Stand will place the machine effectively over table tops or conveyor lines to improve product flow. An optional Tape Aerial® will crease the tape down the middle and "shoot" the tape over the carton for easy placement. Your operators will experience less fatigue, and perform their jobs faster. For use with BP555, BP554, BP556 dispensers.
The idea of the stand is a great idea and as all machines being manufactured today will not work with the SpaSaver Stand, we recommend looking into either modifying or replacing your current work station with the Dehnco line to accept the swing arm tape dispenser holder.

Tape Aerial Model TA2000
Placement of your gummed tape dispenser will greatly improve the efficiency of your packers. Most operators use a tape dispenser straight on causing the packer to dispense the tape and then having to carry the tape to the box. By using the machine sideways with a tape aerial, the tape is dispensed over the carton allowing the packer to "drop" it on the box. Saves 1-2 seconds per carton!
The Tape Aerial will crease the tape down the middle and "shoot" the tape over the carton for easy placement. Your operators will experience less fatigue, and perform their jobs faster. For use with the BP555eSA series tape dispensers. Model TA2000 is available now.
